Mumford & Sons announce Noah Kahan and Maggie Rogers for final US ‘Railroad Revival Tour’ shows

Mumford & Sons have announced that Noah Kahan and Maggie Rogers will be joining them for the final shows of their 2025 US ‘Railroad Revival Tour’. Find all the details below.
The band’s current brief run of dates is a reworking of their 2011 tour of the US railway, which saw all the participating artists travel together by train. It precedes the next leg of their wider North American headline tour, which concludes this autumn.

Last Sunday (August 3) saw Lainey Wilson open for Mumford & Sons at their ‘Railroad Revival Tour’ stop in New Orleans, before Darius Rucker supported the group in Simpsonville last night (4).
For tonight’s (5) penultimate gig, Mumford & Sons will be joined by the former tourmate Rogers at the Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront in Richmond, Virginia. The next and final ‘Railroad…’ concert is scheduled for Thursday (7) at the Chaplain Valley Expo in Burlington, Vermont, where ‘Stick Season’ star Kahan is due to support.
In 2023, Rogers and Marcus Mumford covered Taylor Swift‘s song ‘Cowboy Like Me’ together at a festival in Canada. The US singer had previously joined the band on stage in Birmingham after opening for them earlier that evening.
Kahan performed live with Mumford & Sons at Austin City Limits 2023 in Texas. Meanwhile, Mt. Joy recently recalled hanging out with the group’s Ben Lovett and a pre-fame Kahan during an interview with NME.
Per a press release, the current ‘Railroad…’ tour sees the performers join the train alongside an ‘all-star house band’ featuring the likes of Nathaniel Rateliff, Lucius, Trombone Shorty, Madison Cunningham and Leif Vollebekk.
The musicians play across all the dates and travel on the train with Mumford & Sons, as well as rehearsing and writing new collaborative songs performed at the shows.
“We felt we had some unfinished business on the great American railroad. So, we’ve spent a lot of time cooking up this idea for another rolling festival to rip through the south and east of the US, picking up exactly where we left off in New Orleans and ending in Vermont,” explained frontman Mumford.
“The spirit of what we do, at its core, is always about people and collaboration. So, every show will be a collaborative performance from a bunch of our favourite people on the planet, and every show will be different. This will, without doubt, be the coolest house band we’ll ever get to play in.”
Mumford & Sons released a concert film of their original ‘Railroad Revival Tour’, titled Big Easy Express. The movie won a Grammy Award for Best Music Film in 2013.
Earlier this year, Mumford & Sons released their first album in seven years, ‘RUSHMERE’. They have since hosted two acoustic pop-up shows in London, headlined Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool, and performed some intimate club dates in the UK, Europe, Australia and North America.
