Musk makes Epstein files claim about Trump

In an escalating feud with the US president, the tech billionaire has stated it’s “time to drop the really big bomb”
Elon Musk has claimed that US President Donald Trump’s name appears in the infamous Epstein files – and suggested that’s “the real reason” they remain unreleased. The explosive allegation comes during a growing war of words between the two over Trump’s newly passed tax and spending bill.
Jeffrey Epstein, a financier with ties to global elites, was arrested in 2019 on sex trafficking charges and died in jail that same year. Though ruled a suicide, his death fueled speculation, as key evidence – including contact lists, client names, and flight logs – remained sealed. Trump pledged to release the files, with US Attorney General Pam Bondi unveiling the “first phase” of declassified files in February.
As Trump and Musk traded barbs on social media on Thursday, Musk wrote on X: “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.” He added: “Have a nice day, DJT! Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
