Nathan Fielder's 'The Rehearsal' Faked a Singing Contest That Led to One Singer Losing $10,000
HBO’s Nathan Fielder comedy docu-series The Rehearsal debuted on HBO in 2022 and scored an incredible 96% Rotten Tomatoes score. However, the elaborately staged series, which stars Fielder as a fictional version of himself being a director of rehearsals for ordinary people’s big life moments, has been called out by a New York singer who took part in the series, believing she was taking part in a real singing contest and spending over $10,000 of her own money for the privilege.
