New 'Alien: Earth' Trailer Introduces New Monsters to Xenomorph Franchise
The Alienfranchise's first steps onto the small screen are coming up quickly, and fans are getting a good look at the IP's future. The FX and Hulu series Alien: Earthis taking the sci-fi horror franchise from the mind of executive producer Ridley Scott to uncharted territory: Planet Earth. Show creator Noah Hawley will usher the Xenomorph-filled universe into a new age with new monsters. In Alien: Earth, which is set before the events of the original Alien in 2120, a ship with five monsters collected from "the darkest corners of the universe" crash lands on Earth. While fans know one of the monsters, the iconic Xenomorph, very well, the other four remain a mystery.
