'Nobody 2' Review: Bob Odenkirk Leads a Savage Sequel with Soul
Nobody 2 cements Bob Odenkirk's status as a bona fide action star in a savage sequel that will kick your butt and break a foot doing it. Every bone-crushing and tooth-spitting detail that made the original so awesome is amplified here. But the biggest surprise is the focus on character dynamics and interpersonal relationships: Our heroic protagonist shreds deplorable villains as an elite killer, but he is a father, husband, son and brother above all. There's genuine heart here, one that elevates the film above the requisite bullets and beatdowns.
