Robert Eggers' take on Nosferatuwas one of the most highly anticipated horror films of 2024, and it didn't disappoint. The director of historical tales of woe like The Witch, The Lighthouse, and The Northman applied his meticulous and visually sumptuous style to one of cinema's oldest vampire tales, and the result was as gorgeous and engrossing as fans hoped it would be, even if it ended up being more atmospheric than truly scary.
