Many years ago, it would have been hard to conceive that Adam Sandler would have the acting chops to pull off dramatic roles. Coming off of comedies like Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore to start his film career after his Saturday Night Live days, it would have been fair to assume Sandler would strictly be a comedic actor. He has made no shortage of comedy films, with fan favorites like Big Daddy, Anger Management, 50 First Dates, and The Wedding Singer.
