Original 'Naked Gun' Director Reacts to Reboot's Opening Box Office Success
Nothing to see here, only David Zucker asserting (again) that he is boycotting Akiva Schaffer's The Naked Gunreboot. Zucker directed two out of three films from the original Naked Gun trilogy led by Leslie Nielsen, and he also returned as a writer on the third and final installment despite not being at the helm. However, he has no plans to watch the new movie that stars Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson. It seems that the film's positive reviews and strong box-office takings will not change his mind, but he is glad that "people are liking it."
