Parcels release new single ‘Summerinlove’ from upcoming ‘Bose x NME: C25’ mixtape

Parcels have released their chilled-out new single ‘Summerinlove’ from Bose and NME’s forthcoming ‘C25’ mixtape – check it out below.
‘Bose x NME: C25’ will be released in full next month (September 19) and spotlights the next generation of music talent from around the world. The full line-up of artists and tracklist are yet to be revealed but we’re delighted to unveil the very first song today (August 1) – available to stream on all major platforms immediately.
As well as featuring on the 2025 instalment of the iconic C-Series mixtape, ‘Summerinlove’ will also appear on Parcels’ upcoming third album ‘Loved’ and has been described by the band as the “slow jam” of the record. “It’s a really smooth, well-recorded song that feels like it can stand alone on the [‘C25’] mixtape,” Parcels’ guitarist and vocalist Jules Crommelin told NME recently. “But I also think it’s very reflective of the album,” added bandmate Patrick Hetherington.
‘Loved’ is due to be released September 12. “It’s very internal for all of us, so personal and so deep, which is sometimes quite uncomfortable,” Parcels said in a statement about the follow-up to 2021’s ambitious double album ‘Day/Night’. “But I guess that’s what Parcels is – at least at the moment – all of us having that individual journey, then trying to make a space so we can funnel everybody’s experiences into the same world and express it as a celebration.”
Following celebrated sets at Glastonbury and Coachella Festival, Parcels will also be heading out on a massive European headline run next month that’ll include a show at London’s iconic Wembley Arena.
The legendary C-Series compilation was relaunched in March 2023 thanks to a new partnership between NME and Bose. Featured artists on ‘C23′ included King Princess, Genesis Owusu and 070 Shake while last summer’s ‘C24’ mixtape boasted a stacked line-up including rugged soulmaster Teddy Swims, jazz-loving singer-songwriter Laufey, London-based musician Artemas and more. Combined, the two releases have racked up more than 100million streams.
‘C25’ will launch September 19 on digital streaming platforms, alongside a limited run of vinyl records and cassette tapes. On Tape, an innovative video series featuring one-take, 360-degree performances from ‘C25’ artists, will also return after its hugely successful debut last year.
