'Superman' Director James Gunn Responds to Snyder Fans Who Want His DCU Hero to Fail
Superman, by writer/director James Gunn, will reset the franchise owned by Warner Bros. Pictures, and most importantly, present the world with a new version of the caped superhero. As the entire world prepares to welcome the Man of Steel again, there's a certain community that doesn't fully agree with the latest iteration of the DC Studios icon. They are known as Snyder fans, and they are openly critical of everything not happening within the SnyderVerse. While some auteurs would be worried at the negative reaction by the SnyderCut legion, Gunn remains relaxed. And even thinks, in some ways, the overtly negative response is "good."
