'The Last Jedi' Director Rian Johnson Wants to Return to Complete His 'Star Wars' Trilogy
The Star Wars franchise has certainly had its share of ups and downs over the past decade. But most fans will agree that 2017's The Last Jedi, directed by Rian Johnson, is the lowest moment in the franchise's modern era. Johnson, who has since gone on to find great acclaim with the Knives Out franchise and Poker Face series, is also behind the most divisive Star Wars film so far, and, despite the movie being panned by most fans, the director said he is still open to returning to complete his once-planned trilogy.
