'The Office' Star Jenna Fischer Defends Last Seasons Without Steve Carell
Jenna Fischer, the actor who played Pam Beesly in the U.S. version of the beloved sitcom The Office, is speaking out in favor of the often criticized last seasons of the NBC show. Steve Carell's character Michael Scott, Dunder Mifflin's regional manager of the Scranton branch, retired during Season 7 of the show. Despite some fans believing the show had lost its purpose after that, it continued for two more seasons that contained what Fischer now refers to as "amazing storylines."
