'The Thursday Murder Club' Director Teases Netflix's New Murder Mystery With a "Mount Rushmore" Cast
Netflix could have another gigantic hit on its hands with the upcoming release of The Thursday Murder Club. Based on the best-selling series of novels by British TV personality Richard Osman, the story follows a group of pensioners in a retirement home who spend their days enjoying murder mystery novels, until one day, a real murder mystery is at their doorstep. The books are highly renowned by critics and readers, but it's the movie's cast that has fans truly excited. The Thursday Murder Club features four of the most recognizable and beloved veteran British actors, whom the director, Chris Columbus, calls the "Mount Rushmore of British action giants!"
