The 'War of the Worlds' TV Show Is Way Better Than Prime Video's New Movie
For decades, Hollywood has been fascinated with H.G. Wells' sci-fi literary masterpiece The War of the Worlds, with the classic having been adapted on the big and small screen countless times, including Steven Spielberg's 2005 blockbuster and, most recently, the critically panned Prime Video iteration. Not even Ice Cube's star power or the studio's unique screenlife approach could save the adaptation, which holds a 3% Rotten Tomatoes score and has already been labeled the year's worst film by critics.
