Titus Welliver Joins J.K. Simmons in 'The Westies' Crime Series
Fans of Bosch star Titus Welliver have been decidedly bummed out the past few months, what with Bosch: Legacy's end and the news that his The Equalizer spinoff was not getting picked up to series after all. But all of those frowns are about to be turned upside-down, as the silver-haired crime star has hopped aboard another new drama of a similar ilk: the J.K. Simmons-fronted MGM+ series The Westies, the story of the Irish-American mafia family that operated out of Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan in the 1980s. The crime organization was known for working with the slightly-more-notorious Italian mob at the same time — and Welliver is going to be the cop caught in the middle of it all.
