Tom Holland Promises 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' Will Fix the MCU's Biggest Phase 5 Mistake
It's been a rocky run for the MCU over the past few years. Despite the odd success, like Deadpool & Wolverine, much of Phase 5 has been considered to be a disappointment by Marvel fans. As well as Fantastic Four: First Steps, which opens in theaters on July 25, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is also expected to put the Marvel Cinematic Universe back on track. Tom Holland returns for his fourth standalone outing as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU, along with Stranger Things' Sadie Sink in a still unconfirmed role. The film is currently in pre-production and is set to release on July 31, 2026. With cameras getting ready to roll and Tom Holland preparing to don the Spider-Man costume once again, the actor has revealed that Brand New Day will fix one of the biggest problems that has plagued the MCU for years.
