Watch Bruce Springsteen play with Smokey Robinson, Tom Morello, John Fogerty, Jackson Browne and others at New Jersey event

Bruce Springsteen played alongside a litany of music legends at an intimate event in New Jersey this weekend – watch footage below.
The Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center organised an American Music Honors show at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey on Saturday (April 26), where an audience of just 700 got to witness the Boss jam alongside John Fogerty, Smokey Robinson, Jackson Browne, Tom Morello, Darlene Love and Nora Guthrie.
Fogerty, Robinson and Morello were receiving the American Music Honors at the event, as well as Emmylou Harris and Joe Ely. Springsteen himself delivered speeches for Fogerty and Ely.
Springsteen and Fogerty went on to play the Creedence Clearwater Revival classics ‘Bad Moon Rising’, ‘Proud Mary’ and ‘Fortunate Son’, all of which you can watch in fan-captured footage here:
Springsteen and Motown legend Robinson then played ‘Going To A Go-Go’ together, before the Boss joined Browne for ‘Take It Easy’ and Morello for ‘The Ghost Of Tom Joad’ and ‘Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out’.
The night drew to a close with all the artists in attendance joining together on stage for a version of Woody Guthrie’s classic ‘This Land Is Your Land’, the first time Springsteen has played the once-regular part of his setlist since 2013.
Elsewhere, Springsteen is gearing up to release seven never-before-heard full albums – dubbed ‘Tracks II: The Lost Albums’ – on June 27. The collection will comprise 83 songs which will “fill in rich chapters of Springsteen’s expansive career timeline — while offering invaluable insight into his life and work as an artist.” The track ‘Blind Spot’, shared earlier this month, is included.
On top of that, there is also a companion set called ‘Lost And Found: Selections From The Lost Albums’ that will feature 20 highlights from across the collection. Find the full list of albums and their tracklists here and visit here to pre-order.
In other Bruce Springsteen news, it was recently shared that the BBC have unveiled plans to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the legendary artist’s first UK concert with a series of programmes.
The biopic of his life – specifically, the making of the 1982 album ‘Nebraska’ – is also due out before the end of the year. It is titled Deliver Me From Nowhere and stars The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White in the central role.
