Will Battlefield 6 be on Game Pass?

Battlefield 6 has finally been officially revealed, and one of the key questions has been if the game will appear on Game Pass at launch, given EA’s close relationship with Microsoft and support of the service.
The answer is sort of. Here is a full explanation.
Battlefield 6 will be available via Game Pass Ultimate for a 10-hour free trial ahead of the launch, as most EA games have been for a few years. This means you will be able to play with the multiplayer and its custom map builder, as well as the campaign (most likely). A lot of this information has yet to be confirmed by EA but, we will update this if there are any differences from other EA games.
Until then, you can play ahead of launch in the beta, which takes place in August. The beta will only have access to the multiplayer mode, but you can get hands-on with it early if you are an EA Play Pro subscriber or a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber. A full breakdown of the beta dates and how to access it can be found on our dedicated page.
While you wait for launch, you can also rewatch the multiplayer reveal event from the end of July below:
“The ultimate all-out warfare experience. Fight in high-intensity infantry combat. Rip through the skies in aerial dogfights. Demolish your environment for a strategic advantage. Harness complete control over every action and movement using the Kinesthetic Combat System. In a war of tanks, fighter jets, and massive combat arsenals, the deadliest weapon is your squad. This is Battlefield 6.”
Battlefield 6 releases on October 10, 2025 this year for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. There is not a PS4 or Xbox One release for the game and a Nintendo Switch 2 version hasn’t been announced yet.
