'Andor' Season 2 Gives Yavin 4 a New 'Star Wars' Origin Story
Andor's Season 2 premiere episodes have given the origin story for an iconic Star Wars location. Despite some audience members praising Andor for not being overly concerned with Easter eggs and Star Wars references, like those inThe Mandalorian or Ahsoka, the show is still filled with them, but in subtle ways. In the first two episodes of Season 2, we see Cassian Andor crash-land on a mysterious jungle planet and is taken captive by a group of rebels. Cassian escapes, and in the episode's final moments, it is revealed that the jungle planet Cassian has been on is none other than Yavin 4, the fourth moon of the red gas planet Yavin and the future site of the Rebel Alliance's most iconic base.
