Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz are back in the second season of Twisted Metal.

Based on PlayStation’s vehicular combat game franchise, the series follows delivery driver John Doe (Mackie) who finds himself facing ruthless marauders after delivering a mysterious package across the US.

A synopsis for season two reads: “Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso.

“As they true to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.”

Twisted Metal season two debuts on Paramount+ in the UK on July 31, 2025.

Who composed the soundtrack to Twisted Metal season 2?

The show’s score is by Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson, who are best known for working together on the Cobra Kai soundtrack.

Their other credits include TV shows Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Obliterated, Florida Man and Pitch Perfect: Bumper In Berlin.
