'Everything's Going to Be Great' Review: Bryan Cranston and Allison Janney Save a Quirky Dramedy

Allison Janney and Bryan Cranston star in Everything's Going to Be Great, a quirky and wildly uneven family dramedy that still hits some positive notes. The venerated pair star as struggling theater producers and parents to disparate teen sons who have different opinions on their showbiz lifestyle. A creative hook gets big laughs in the beginning, but the film then loses considerable steam as the fun evaporates with a bleaker narrative turn. That said, Broadway and musical enthusiasts are definitely going to get a kick out of this film.
