The legendary festival will return to Worthy Farm between June 25 and 29, ahead of a fallow year in 2026. Headliners are Neil Young, The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo on the Pyramid Stage, while Loyle Carner, Charli XCX and The Prodigy will perform on the Other Stage.
Other big names across the weekend include Biffy Clyro, The Maccabees, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, RAYE, Wolf Alice, The Prodigy, Doechii, St. Vincent, Deftones, The Libertines, Wet Leg, Weezer, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Future Islands, JADE, TV On The Radio, Self Esteem, CMAT, Blossoms and Turnstile.
Rod Stewart will be taking on the coveted Legend Slot on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday afternoon, and has already revealed that the set – which is setting him back over £300,000 – will see a reunion with Faces bandmate Ronnie Wood.
The full line-up was shared by organisers at the start of the month, and includes a number of ‘TBA’ secret slots, as well as some brutal clashes.
Now, before you get packing your bags for this year’s edition, check out the early weather forecast below.
In a long-range prediction from the Met Office, the weather for Glasto is likely to see “high pressure” that will “dominate much of the UK, bringing dry and fine weather, and feeling warm in the sunshine with light winds for most”.
It also adds that any early morning mist or fog will be quick to clear, and daytime temperature will likely trend around or above normal for the time of year.”
The BBC weather forecast for Glastonbury 2025 is:
Wednesday June 25
Expect light rain showers throughout the day along with some sunshine and a gentle greeze. Temperatures with highs of 23ºC and lows of 14ºC.
Thursday June 26
A warm day of sunny intervals with a gentle breeze, with temperatures peaking at 23ºC and lows of 13ºC – but mild in the evening.
Friday June 27
A mild day of intervals with a gentle breeze, with highs of 23ºC and lows of 13ºC, and warm in the evening.
Saturday June 28
Predicted to be sunny throughout the day but with a gentle breeze, with highs of 25ºC and lows of 13ºC. Expect a clear evening between 20ºC-16ºC.
Sunday June 29
A closing hot day of warm sun with a gentle breeze, reaching highs of 25ºC and lows of 13ºC. A warm and clear evening is forecast around 21ºC-17ºC.
The past two years of Glasto have seen hot and sunny conditions, and 2023 saw festival organisers issue advice on staying safe as temperatures reached the high 20s. The last time significant rain and mud hit Glastonbury was back in 2016.
The artists playing Glasto this year have been gradually announced by organisers over the past few months, and in January, Neil Young was announced as headliner in an unconventional way – with the Canadian singer-songwriter saying that he had initially pulled out of Glasto ’25 due to it being “a corporate turn-off”, owing to the festival’s partnership with the BBC.
Young later backtracked, however, citing “an error in the information received”. It’ll mark his second time topping the bill at the farm, following his debut appearance in 2009.
There’s a strong number of Glasto first-timers this time around, too. These include Alanis Morissette, Noah Kahan, Lola Young, Myles Smith (winner of this year’s BRITs Rising Star award), Busta Rhymes, Brandi Carlile and Gary Numan.
Recently, organiser Emily Eavis spoke out about the changes that will be implemented on-site for 2025. These include making more space for punters by selling “a few thousand less” tickets than usual, expanding the space at The Other Stage, introducing a new Dragon’s Tail area to Shangri-La and more.
