Improv Fans and Haters Alike Need To Stream 'Deep Cover' on Prime Video
Improv comedians, ironically, have somehow become the butt of the worlds' collective joke. The modern punching bag of the performing arts world, it was only a matter of time before mainstream movie-making got wind of just how popular it is to poke fun at improvisers. This has come to fruition in the form of Prime Video's new action comedy Deep Cover, which sees three improv comedians thrust into London's crime scene after they are recruited by the police to go undercover. Despite currently holding a top 10 spot on Prime and a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, not to mention starring several A-list celebrities, Deep Cover has been met with relatively little fanfare.
