Instead of a Female James Bond, Create Great New Characters for Women
Acclaimed British actress Helen Mirren does not believe there can be a female James Bond, and she is right. While there absolutely should be more big-budget female action heroes in both cinema and television, there is no need to simply repurpose a long-standing preexisting franchise property to achieve that goal.
