Johnny Depp's Return to 'Pirates of the Caribbean' Is One Step Closer to Happening
The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has long been known to be moving on without Johnny Depp, but now, according to producer Jerry Bruckheimer, we might actually be closer than ever to seeing the star reprise his role of Captain Jack Sparrow one last time. Depp hasn't been seen in his pirate garb on the big screen since 2017's Dead Men Tell No Tales after Disney severed all ties with him the following year when allegations were made by his ex-wife, Amber Heard, that she was the victim of domestic violence.
