'Jurassic World Rebirth' Director Gareth Edwards Talks Potential 'Star Wars' Return
Gareth Edwards, the director of the latest Jurassic World film, Jurassic World Rebirth, is also the visionary behind 2016's Star Wars prequel spin-off, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The film is highly regarded as one of the best films in the sci-fi adventure franchise created by George Lucas in the '70s. However, not even the great reception was enough to convince Edwards to return to the world of Star Wars. The director has gone on record to say that he appreciates the public's praise for Rogue One, but he simply isn't interested in making another Star Wars movie.
