Marvel Studios has been well known for going through several different story ideas and concepts during pre-production of a film or television project. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) could have turned out very differently if not for the numerous rewrites on some of its most popular projects. Whether it was the death of Wong that was ultimately scrapped in Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness or the extensive reshoots to change the story of Captain America: Brave New World, most changes were made for the better. In the case of the Disney+ series Moon Knight, the Oscar Isaac-led show almost featured an entirely different villain.
