Peacock and A24's 'Friday the 13th' Series Gets Filming Update
Jason Voorhees is immortal, so it's only right that his story lives on through the Friday the 13th franchise, which includes classic films, television shows, fan-made graphics, and more. Horror lovers got their first dose of the fictional icon in 1980, and not during Halloween season. The film was released in May and turned the month of warm weather and outside festivities into bloody screams and a fear of visiting lakes with a group of people (teenagers, mostly). It wasn't just any lake that Jason marked as his territory; it was Crystal Lake, which became the latest name for Peacock and A24'sFriday the 13th series. Creator, writer, and showrunner Brad Caleb Kane has been providing updates on his Instagram about the new show, and recently revealed where it stands.
