Prime Video's 'Étoile' Is More Than Worth Your Time
Maybe Prime Video wasn't looking for its very own Emily in Paris, but it's found it. The new show Étoile is luxurious, fantastical escapism, but instead of high fashion, ballet takes center stage. Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, the creative husband-and-wife duo behind Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, have returned with a stunning comedy-drama bearing their brand. With a jaunty theme tune produced by Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk), Simon Callow delivering a deliciously villainous performance, and unexpected cameos, there's no shortage of entertainment in Étoile.
