'Rick & Morty' Is Giving Keith David's President Curtis His Own Spin-off
It's not so surprising anymore when a successful adult animated series ends up with a spin-off or two. Whether it was The Cleveland Show, which spun off from Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force from Space Ghost Coast to Coast, or Human Resources from Big Mouth, there are usually popular characters that warrant their own stories. However, Rick & Morty has decided to go in a surprising direction with its new spin-off, centering the show around an unexpected character: President Curits. The announcement came along with a surprise appearance from returning actor Keith David at San Diego Comic-Con, to help generate excitement for the upcoming show.
