Ryan Reynolds Box Office Flop Action Movie 'R.I.P.D.' Finds New Streaming Success on Peacock
The early 2010s were a rough period for Ryan Reynolds. While he has since found blockbuster acclaim with the Deadpool franchise, which was recently brought into the fold of the MCU with Deadpool & Wolverine, the era surrounding the panned Green Lantern movie wasn't filled with the major hits fans might expect. Following The Proposal in 2009 and a surprise appearance on Sesame Street in 2010, Green Lantern caused a slight stunt in Reynolds' upward trajectory. While the movie was bad (and even Reynolds himself admits it), it wasn't as bad as his 2013 action comedy, featuring an acting legend. Despite being maligned by fans and critics, the film has recently returned from the dead to find new success on streaming.
