Johnasson was first confirmed to be working as a producer on a new Tower of Terror film in 2021. Development on the project was briefly halted following the highly publicized lawsuit with Disney, which stemmed from their decision to release Black Widow on streaming. However, since the settlement, development has resumed. It has been four years since the film was announced, and there has seemingly been no word on the film.
