Seth Rogen Is Still Open to a 'Pineapple Express' Sequel: "Maybe One Day'

It's been 17 years since fans last saw Seth Rogen and James Franco team up for the 2008 buddy comedy, Pineapple Express. The film follows a stoner named Dale Denton (Rogen) and his marijuana dealer (Franco) as they try to escape a dangerous drug lord (Gary Cole) and a corrupt cop (Rosie Perez) after they witness them commit a murder. With a myriad of sequels and reboots being announced left and right, longtime fans of the comedy action flick have been wondering for years if Rogan — who wrote the screenplay alongside David Gordon Green and Evan Goldberg — has any interest in creating a possible Pineapple Express 2.
