Sorry Stephen King, 'Creepshow 2' Is the Best in the Franchise
No anthology horror film is perfect. The structure always ensures that some will like parts over others, dividing horror fans. Yet, Creepshow is often held in high regard by fans of horror anthologies and Stephen King. While it has its high points and has been given the deserved title of classic, I have revisited Creesphow 2 time and time again, while the first seems like more of a slog. Some may call it blasphemy, but with both films bringing the creative power of horror film maestro George A. Romero and grimscribe Stephen King, they did a much better job with the second Creepshow. I stand firm that this is the better of the two.
