'Superman' Director James Gunn Is Officially Writing DCU Sequel
Three weeks after Superman opened in theaters, fans finally have word on whether it will get a sequel. The DCU film has been a hit for DC Studios, surpassing Man of Steel to become the highest-grossing solo Superman movie at the domestic box office and maintaining a strong hold in the following weeks, including against fellow superhero movie, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The DCU's future is bright with movies like Supergirl and Clayface and television series like Lanterns and Booster Gold, but fans have been wondering when they will see the continued adventures of David Corenswet as Superman.
