James Gunn’s Superman has been a subject of debate long before we saw any footage from the DCU kick-off movie. With fixations on details around how the movie’s flying scenes look, the dialogue, the casting, the plot, one thing that has slipped under the radar is the long-time confusing question of how no one knows that Clark Kent is Superman just because he slumps his shoulders, ruffles his hair, and wears a pair of glasses. It seems that even Gunn had forgotten why one part of his Clark Kent attire was so important to his disguise, but has made sure it is in the movie.
