'Superman' & 'Sinners' Success Helps Warner Bros. Break an All-Time Box Office Record
Warner Bros. has broken a new record in 2025 thanks to the likes of Sinners,Superman, and their recent release, Weapons. The horror outing topped the box office this weekend with an impressive $43.5 million, easily besting fellow new release Freakier Friday and also taking the top spot from The Fantastic Four: First Steps in its third weekend. It has been an impressive year for Warner Bros., with A Minecraft Movie still holding the biggest opening weekend of the year so far, Sinners being one of the most discussed movies of 2025, and Superman recently surpassing Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justiceto become the highest-grossing film featuring Superman.
