Sydney Sweeney is now selling soap infused with her actual bathwater

Sydney Sweeney is now selling bars of soap infused with her actual, used bathwater.
The Euphoria actress broke the news on social media in a joint post with natural handmade soap brand Dr. Squatch. It’s called Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss, and as the actress confirms, is “very real,” and will be “very limited”.
Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss is described as “a perfect combination of the two best places on the planet: The outdoors and Sydney Sweeney’s bathtub.”
While its ingredients include pine, earthy moss and “a touch of Sydney’s very own bathwater”, the bar of soap is described to smell like “morning wood”.
It is due to go on sale on June 6 – you can find out more about the curious product here.
Dr. Squatch has also announced a giveaway of 100 bars of the limited edition soap – you can either enter via this form, or follow the post below’s instructions.
Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss is now the latest gimmick item to be sold by a celebrity. Quite possibly the most infamous celebrity gimmick release of all time was Gwyneth Paltrow‘s vagina-scented candle from 2020.
Paltrow recently defended the $75 (£56) vagina candle, telling critics to “go fuck yourself”. The now-discontinued product, called ‘This Smells Like My Vagina’, gained widespread media attention upon being launched. In 2021, the candle in question reportedly burst into flames in a woman’s living room, “with bits flying everywhere”.
Australian punk band Private Function have recently launched a “scratch and sniff” vinyl variant of their new album that smells like that same infamous candle from Paltrow. In 2023, the band also launched the world’s first “piss-filled” record.
Last year saw Blood Records release a vinyl version of the Saltburn soundtrack filled with cloudy bathwater – a reference to the film’s most notorious scene, which sees Oliver (Barry Keoghan) spy on Felix (Jacob Elordi) as the latter masturbates in the bath.
As for Sweeney’s non-soap related news, the actress has recently discussed the upcoming season of Euphoria, promising it will be the most “unhinged” yet. No exact air date has been announced for the new season, although executives revealed it should arrive in early 2026. Recently, singer Rosalía discussed appearing in Euphoria, calling her first foray into acting “really inspiring”.
