'The Mortician' Review: Exposing America's Most Corrupt Funeral Clan
When posing for photographs, parents typically say, "say cheese!" For the Lambs, the family in focus in HBO's riveting new docuseries The Mortician, their grandfather would advise them to, "say money!" It's one of the small-but-telling details revealed in the series, debuting on HBO Max June 1. The Lambs are a money-hungry and morbid family — and not just because they built a dynasty around funerals. The Lambs also went about squeezing dollars out of the deceased and their next of kin, and one corrupt Lamb offspring takes center stage across the series' three episodes.
