The three-part series covers the 1970s when David Berkowitz, known as The Son of Sam, terrorized people in New York City, murdering six and wounding 11 others. He initially claimed to have been operating on the orders of a demon, which manifested itself in the form of his neighbor’s dog. But he later admitted that it was all a hoax.
