'Top Gun: Maverick' Lawsuit Alleges Writer's Cousin Wrote Key Scenes

Family in-fighting is never fun, but it probably sucks even more when it happens so publicly. As is the case with the latest lawsuit being brought against Paramount and the creative team behind Top Gun: Maverick. You see, one of the film's credited screenwriters, Eric Singer, is actually the cousin of the screenwriter and visual effects artist Shaun Gray, currently suing for his piece of the Tom Cruise-fronted pie. Something tells us that Goose wouldn't be happy to see all this familial fighting going on.
