'True Detective' Creator Reveals Idea to Bring Back OG Stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson
Nic Pizzolatto, the original showrunner and creator of HBO's excellent crime drama, True Detective, believes that there's a future for Cohle and Hart, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson's characters from Season 1. The detectives only appeared in the first season due to the show's anthology format, but part of the show's long-lasting acclaim has been because of them. Fans have always pleaded for their return, and now Pizzolatto says that he has an idea that might be realized in the future.
