Vance flips middle finger during party speech (VIDEO)

The US vice president joked that critics of Republican candidates use it to say “we are number one in Washington”
US Vice President J.D. Vance offered critics ‘the bird’ during a Republican Party event in Lima, Ohio, on Tuesday, in a thinly-veiled criticism of political culture in Washington, DC.
Vance, the second-highest official in the US government, used the offensive signal to mock people who respond rudely to door-to-door canvassing.
”I know it's not always easy to be a political candidate, trust me. And in Washington, DC they have this thing where — I think it means ‘we’re number one in Washington, DC’ – but all the pink-haired people throw up this sign,” he said, flipping his middle finger, as the audience erupted in laughter.
”All kidding aside, sometimes this job of politics is inspiring, and sometimes it’s hard work,” Vance added, encouraging aspiring politicians to embrace both the challenges and rewards of public service in pursuit of a better future for future generations.
