'Very Young Frankenstein' Series in the Works at FX With Mel Brooks
It's alive! It's alive… again! Well, almost. A new comedy series inspired by Mel Brooks' iconic comedy film Young Frankenstein (it's pronounced "Fronk-en-steen," by the way) is reportedly nearing a pilot order at FX. The news of this project, which is currently titled Very Young Frankenstein, comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Spaceballs is getting a long-overdue sequel — so fans of Brooks' classic movies seemingly have a lot to be excited about in the coming years, especially since the legendary filmmaker is on board for all of it.
