Watch Sprints bring out Kate Nash for ‘Foundations’ and ‘That’s Not My Name’ at Glastonbury 2025

Sprints were joined by Kate Nash for versions of ‘Foundations’ and The Ting Tings’ ‘That’s Not My Name’ at Glastonbury 2025.

The Dublin punk band played in the Woodsies Stage at the Worthy Farm festival on Sunday afternoon (June 29), and towards the end of their set, frontwoman Karla Chubb introduced their special guest.

Chubb explained that the band recently played a session on BBC Radio 1 and covered ‘Foundations’, which they described as “a bit of an English classic” and “a song which we adore”.

Nash then came out on stage and they played her 2008 breakthrough single together, the final stretch of which incorporated the chorus of ‘That’s Not My Name’, another indie-pop classic from the era.

Last week, Sprints announced their second album ‘All That It Over’, which will be released on September 26 via City Slang and Sub Pop – pre-order/pre-save here. They also shared the lead single ‘Descartes’, and they are now heading out on tour around Europe, including dates with Bloc Party and Fontaines D.C., before a string of UK and Ireland dates in November.

Nash, meanwhile, recently released her powerful new single ‘GERM’, in which she celebrates the trans community and calls out bigotry, inspired by the UK Supreme Court ruling that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex.

This year’s Glastonbury saw outspoken politics sets from the likes of Kneecap and Amyl & The Sniffers, as well as a Bob Vylan performance that the festival itself said it was “appalled” by due to frontman Bobby Vylan leading chants of “death to the IDF”.

Elsewhere, The 1975 “delivered a reminder of their chops for tunes and showmanship” during their Friday night Pyramid headline slot, Neil Young “proved there is still power to be found in an old-school approach” the following night, while Charli XCX delivered a final victory lap for her ‘Brat’ era on the Other Stage on Saturday night and Olivia Rodrigo was joined by The Cure’s Robert Smith in her Sunday night festival-closing set.
