The superhero genre can be endlessly entertaining while also being predictable; there are both good and bad MCU and DCU movies, but the structure and themes of all tend to share many similarities. At the same time, for those interested in arthouse films, the superhero genre is often regarded with disdain due to its simplistic (yet inarguably practical and entertaining) approach.
