'Outer Range' Was a Mess, But it Was a Great Showcase for Tamara Podemski
When Prime Video canceled its sci-fi western series Outer Rangeafter two seasons, it left many questions unanswered. But really, that's par for the course with the show, which was built from an interlocking web of strange phenomena in true mystery box fashion. Its tale of two rancher families battling over a particularly unique piece of Wyoming wilderness had a ton of intriguing ideas and strong performances from the likes of Josh Brolin, Lili Taylor, and a scenery-chewing Will Patton, but it was never able to fully find its footing before its abrupt end.
