'Blade Runner' Fans Need to Watch the '2049' Short Films
Despite having the impossible task of following Ridley Scott and his landmark sci-fi epicBlade Runner, director Denis Villeneuve acquitted himself with Blade Runner 2049. The film was a critical success, winning two of the five Academy Awards for which it was nominated, including one long-overdue honor for cinematographer Roger Deakins.
