'Buffy' Star Charisma Carpenter Wants to Return as Cordeilia Despite Dying in 'Angel'
With a Buffy the Vampire Slayersequel series being in development at Hulu, former stars of the show have expressed interest in returning. While there are many fan favorites worthy of a return, no one probably deserves it more than Charisma Carpenter, who portrayed Cordelia Chase for three seasons of Buffy before bringing the character to its spin-off, Angel. The transition began pleasantly enough, but behind-the-scenes tensions led to Carpenter being written out of Angel in an insulting fashion, and now the actress hopes that she can return for the Buffy revival following her "unjust" exit from the spin-off.
