Netflix's Hit Action Franchise 'The Old Guard' Blasts Up the Streaming Chart After the Release of the Sequel
One of Netflix's biggest action franchises is finally back with its long-awaited sequel, and viewers are once again obsessed with the hit film franchise. The Old Guard was released in 2020 and was a decent hit among critics and audiences. Based on the graphic novel by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez, the series follows an immortal group of mercenaries who are being hunted by an elite underground group. But, during the mission, they learn that their immortality isn't as straightforward as they once thought. The sequel, aptly titled The Old Guard 2, was recently released on Netflix, and it's shooting up the streaming chart.
